About Me
Welcome to A to B Tutoring! I am originally from Plattsburgh, New York, and have recently moved to Colorado. I received my Master's degree in General and Special Education Grades K-6 from SUNY Plattsburgh. After graduating, I accepted a job in Peru, New York where I worked as a 3rd-grade teacher for two years. I then moved to Colorado, where I worked for one year as a special education teacher, one year as a 3rd-grade teacher, and one year as a 4th-grade teacher.

My favorite part of teaching is being around the students and forming positive relationships with them. I like to meet the needs of the students through fun and engaging activities while also creating a positive and safe learning environment. Tutoring allows me to apply my teaching skills in a one-on-one setting to help target student needs more explicitly.
How It Works
Levels of Teaching
I am licensed in the area of K-6 general and special education. In my classroom, I have worked with children of all abilities, including those that have IEP's.
Subjects
I offer personalized tutoring in Reading, Math, and Writing for grades PreK-6.
Tutoring Options
One-on-One Sessions:
In-Person
This session is to teach, reteach, and practice general education core concepts in grades K-6.
Rate: $40/hr or $20/half-hr
Group (3-4 students) Sessions:
in-Person
This session is to teach, reteach, and practice general education core concepts in grades K-6.
Rate: Hour $40/student or half-hr $20/student
Locations
In-person sessions are held at my in-home classroom, located near Old Colorado Springs. This space contains all the resources your child needs. I also find that kiddos focus much better and get more work done outside of their own home!

Online sessions are held through Zoom, a free online platform. Virtual tutoring requires a free zoom account, computer and camera.
